I know you and Colette had a special relationship with Marie Moore that went beyond activism so please accept my sincere condolences. I have never seen a service with six women pall bearers before, she must have been some women. I even went on holiday with her grandson and family.

In the media or from anti-gfa republicans, you would here that Sinn Fein sold out an all that but I knew the lady and the family.

They were and are commited just like they always were. We did not agree on the direction but we did have in common the passion and drive to unite the people on this island.

Even when I made it clear that I did not support the SF strategy I was not treated any different and I was always welcome in Mrs Moores home.

My views and opinions were respected, like wise I did not agree with everything from SF but I listend and debated and respected their views and opinions.

What I remember over the years is that no matter what you see in the media, newspapers, videos whatever , you know the people who you grow up with.

I may have known Mrs Moore and the Moores from Lenadoon, my own family grew up in the markets and clonard area as well. Lucknow Street, Cupar Street and that street with the blackstaff on the corner the name escapes me.

The lady was solid as a rock,

She will be missed by alot of people, Sinn Fein members and non Sinn Fein members alike.

Mrs Moore, all the best!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
